Colorado Water Conditions
As of February 6, 2018, more than 99 percent of Colorado is experiencing some degree of abnormally dry or drought conditions. This is a dramatic increase from three months ago, when 28 percent of the state was abnormally dry, and it is significantly worse than one year ago, when approximately 55 percent of the state experienced dry conditions or drought.
Currently, the driest areas are in the southwest portion of the state, which is classified under severe drought.
