As of August 15, 2017, approximately 15 percent of Colorado is experiencing abnormally dry conditions. This is a slight improvement from three months ago, when 20 percent of the state was abnormally dry. And, it’s a significant improvement from a year ago when 30 percent of the state was abnormally dry or experiencing moderate drought.
