As of November 10, 100 percent of Colorado is experiencing drought conditions with more than 93 percent of the state experiencing severe (orange), extreme (red), or exceptional (dark red) conditions. This is an increase from three months ago when 61 percent of the state was experiencing some degree of drought. The conditions are significantly drier now than a year ago when 31 percent of the state was experiencing moderate or severe drought with no portions of the state categorized as experiencing extreme or exceptional drought.
As of Nov 2, statewide snowpack levels are at 94 percent of normal.
